What is Butterfly Wisdom and where did this philosophy originate?
Developed by Dr. Joyce Mills, Butterfly Wisdom Transformation Kit is a book and card set, based on both the spiritual teachings and scientific principles of the butterfly's metamorphosis. Universally viewed as a symbol of transformation and healing, butterflies entrance, delight, and embrace the hearts of those who seek an understanding of personal growth and change. The message:

"When you know where you are,
you'll know where you're going."

What are the Butterfly Wisdom Cards?
They are a set of three distinct decks: Guidelines, Passages, Imaginal Discs.

The 13 Guideline cards provide easy to use instructions in four ways: to achieve inner balance; fine tune Intuition; transform Intuitions from idea to realization; use your gifts, inner resources, and skills as "winged assets" of change.

The next two decks are part of the 32 Butterfly Wisdom Action Cards, each designed to quickly show how to recognize and apply the information on the cards that mirror the four stages of the butterfly's transformation and our own passages of change.

• Passages deck: 20 cards divided into four stages with five cards in each stage: Egg-New Beginning; Caterpilar-Preparing for Change; Chrysalis-Dark Spaces of Change; Emerging Butterfly-Wings Happen.
• Imaginal Disc (Seeds of Change) deck, 12 cards focusing on inner resources, skills, and gifts that enable us to renew hope and meet the challenges of change before us.

How do the Butterfly Wisdom cards work?

2. Clear your mind
3. Choose one of the four ways to use the cards, which are called "Spreads."
4. Read the inspirational word and message on each chosen card.
5. The words and messages on the cards shed light on where you are and inspire a direction in order to move forward in your quest for personal growth, change, relationships, work, new ideas, and life balance.
